About this deal

girl what the hell 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 the pace of this book threw me off & honestly the whole divorce factor would have worked much better if it was a year long relationship. no one moves on that fast from 13 years bruh. i felt like the bubbly personality was a little reinforced at times & icl the whole book could have gone without connor, the roommate sort of romance & hannah. there were a lot of factors that made the book more confusing if anything bcs they just didn’t line up or match the general vibe of the book; what is it w romcom writers and gangs ?1?2?4??2! they always start off so sweet & lovey dovey then BAM‼️ a gang, the mafia, or a stalker decides to show up. there are ways to create a rift between the mc’s without creating plot points THAT MAKE NO SENSE 🗣️🗣️ ngl i saw a insta reel abt this book & finished it in literally less than an hour. it wasn’t a waste of time bcs it all goes to my end or year goal for 150

Fake Dating Zac Delavin is a modern masterpiece, a powerful novel that can be read on its own. This novel is written by Skyla Summers. She is a true storyteller, and Fake Dating Zac Delavin is her best book. It is an epic tale of family, secrets, loss, marriage, betrayal, friendships, laughter, and regrets. Fake Dating Zac Delavin is a heartfelt novel written with compassion and hope, reconciling the past to pave a road to happiness and second chances. The characters in this novel bring life and heart to this story, each with a distinct voice and personality. They made readers love them, they made readers sad, they made readers angry, they made readers laugh, they made readers cry, and they made readers believe in the promise of love and home. I was able to sit and focus on this book without getting distracted and the writing was good, so the book was strong enough in that regard.

Coviluted yet predictable storyline - Faking dating someone to make the guy you're fake dating jealous. Okay I haven't read that before but it was kind of sloppy.

Zac is a broadway star who is going through a messy divorce, which is affecting his career and leaving him damn near penny-less (HA penny 😆) < his ex wife.it’s coming out on January 24, 2023 so better look out for it. Would highly recommend it. Still thinking on how good the book is and how I love it💗 can’t wait for Jordan’s story🫣

With any trope so old and so well-known, the temptation to wink at it and subvert it is always present. But To All the Boys leaned into its fake dating premise with utter and relentless sincerity. In doing so, it created a kind of road map for how to get the most out of old romantic tropes without sliding into the trap of easy cynicism. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before knows exactly what makes fake dating an appealing trope The book was a little too fast paced for my liking but that was expected after the last book. Overall the book was cute and had good spice scenes. the crazy ex totally could have worked, that’s believable this girl makes you love her with her over the top personality and of course her adventures šëxüal nature. In contrast, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before has both Lara Jean and Peter enter their fake relationship with their eyes open. They sign a contract in which they make their expectations toward one another clear, and they make honesty and transparency a requirement of the contract.
