About this deal
All apply to Mavic 3 Pro, Mavic 3 Pro Cine, Mavic 3 Classic, Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Cine, unless stated The M3T can be used with DJI FlightHub 2. Especially suited to public safety and search and rescue teams, this all-in-one cloud-based software is a vital tool for enhanced situational awareness and real-time team collaboration.
The flight time was measured in a controlled test environment. Specific test conditions are as follows: No wind, at sea level, constant flight speed of 32.4 kph, APAS off, AirSense off, camera parameters set to 1080p/24fps, video mode off, and flying from 100% battery to 0% battery. Results may vary depending on environment, usage scenario, and firmware version.Night Mode: This video mode optimises footage in low-light scenarios such as sunsets and sunrises, reducing noise for cleaner shots. The DJI Mavic 3T is built with public safety, search and rescue, inspection and thermal mapping in mind. Strong Interference (urban landscape, limited line of sight, many competing signals): Approx. 1.5-3 km
DJI Mavic 3 vs Mavic 3 Cine vs Mavic 3 Classic vs Mavic 3 Enterprise vs Mavic 3 Thermal vs Mavic 3 Multispectral: Summary The December firmware update came with improvements to obstacle avoidance, but when tested in the same highly complex environment as our original test the drone performed the same way. When flying within a tight avenue of trees, the Mavic 3 flew erratically and may have crashed into tree branches if it wasn’t stopped. Still, this was an incredibly tough test and when APAS was turned off, the drone was able to fly much more smoothly, albeit with a much greater risk of crashing. With the impressive onboard technology, it would be great to see further improvements to obstacle avoidance in future firmware updates. In terms of safety features, this drone has all the trimmings; collision sensors in every direction and obstacle avoidance which successfully avoided trees and continued in its journey when tested. Once or twice the system did alert us about non-existent dirt on the sensors (presumably the sun catching them) but otherwise they functioned well.DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine and Mavic 3 Pro Cine - aimed at pro-filmmakers - support Apple ProRes and have 1TB built-in storage. The new Mavic 3 Pro Cine has tri-camera ProRes support, while ProRes is only supported on the Hasselblad camera of the older Mavic 3 Cine;
The last decade has seen Erik migrate into broadcast television and filmmaking, where he has discovered a passion for visual storytelling and production.While only the Cine model can capture Pro Res 422 HQ, there is the option to switch to 10-bit D-log video which captures a flatter profile for manipulation in post. We also appreciated the option to set the live view to a ‘normal’, unflattened, picture since the D-log image can be relatively hard to compose with.
