About this deal
I tested the Dell S3423DWC's luminance (brightness per unit area), contrast ratio, and color accuracy using our standard test gear: a Klein Instruments K-10A colorimeter, a Murideo SIX-G signal generator, and Portrait Displays' CalMAN 5 calibration software. inch monitors aren’t small even by today’s standards, but Dell has reduced its overall dimensions to lessen its impact on the environment. It only needs 8.5 inches of depth since its base is now smaller and it uses a lightweight frame that only weighs 14.7 pounds. But you still must account for the extra width since it can cover large peripherals like desktop speakers if your table is narrow.
Your Dell S3423DWC monitor has a built-in diagnostic tool. It helps to determine if the screen abnormality you are experiencing is a problem with the monitor or with the video card on your computer. Equipped with 1 USB-C upstream port, 1 Type B upstream port, 1 super speed USB 5 Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 1) Type-A downstream port, and 1 super speed USB 5 Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 1 with BC1.2) Type-A downstream port.CompleteCover:CompleteCover service is available for personal computers, Axim PDAs, Dell branded projectors and LCD TV. Change the input color format to PC RGB or YPbPr in the Color Settings On-Screen Display Menu (OSD).As is generally the case with ultrawide monitors, the Dell has a curved screen that offers a more immersive viewing experience than a flat one. It has 1800R curvature, which means that if you were to arrange enough S3423DWC monitors side by side to form a circle, its radius would be 1,800mm (1.8 meters). That's a significant curve, though modest compared to the likes of the Samsung Odyssey G9 Gaming Monitor's ultra-tight 1000R curvature. The Dell S3423DWC’s panel uniformity isn’t great since there were some light leaks on the top and bottom edges of the screen. They resulted in clouding issues that become visible while the display is showing dark scenes. This is common with curved displays but it’s not a permanent issue so there are better units out there. Supports 48 Hz to 100 Hz (HDMI) and 48 Hz to 100 Hz (USB-C Alternate mode with DisplayPort 1.4) in Freesync Mode.
