About this deal

But my favorite part? These are just perfectly crisp on the edges, but soft and gooey in the center. The best kind of cookie. I’m not normally such a decadent cookie person, but as I always say, I like to really do it up for the holidays. They only come once a year, so let’s just have fun and enjoy every minute of the season. It’s cheesy, but they do only come once a year!

wow there are a lot of comments re: this recipe and I have never commented on a recipe before, but….I COULD NOT GET THE CARAMEL RIGHT!!! I have a thermometer and have made caramel before and other candies soft and hard (sorry). First, admittedly I subbed heavy cream for half and half and clearly that was a huge no no…needed the fat. I was using a copper pot so I thought maybe that was a factor? each time ambered way faster and burnt. Finally I resorted to adding some corn syrup and it was perfect same pot.(slightly different heating method as with the syrup you sustain higher heat) I love the combination for a blondie and will def make again. Thank you!!!! October 31, 2019 Next, melt unsalted butter and chopped bittersweet chocolate in a small saucepan. Do this over low heat and stir it frequently to make sure the chocolate doesn't burn. I will say, however, that after a few days, the pretzels sort of absorbed some moisture from the frozen ice cream, making them less crunchy. If this doesn’t sound good, you have three options that I can see: make the ice cream without pretzels, which will still be amazing; make the ice cream with another mix-in; or make it with pretzels and eat it all immediately.Continue cooking, using a spatula to stir the melted sugar from the bottom and edges into the center, until all of the sugar is dissolved and the mixture turns to a rich amber or caramel color. When it reaches this color, remove the pan immediately from the heat. Introducing the most craveable homemade candy ever, this Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Bark has it all! From chewy, buttery caramel to salty, crunchy pretzel twists, to rich dark chocolate, this treat is guaranteed to score major points with everybody who loves anything with pretzels, caramel, and chocolate. There is nothing better than that perfect sweet and salty flavor combination. These salted caramel pretzel brownies will scratch that itch if you are craving sweet and salt! Read on for all the details. How to make fudgy brownies

Storage: Keep the finished bark in an airtight container on the counter at room temperature or in the fridge.

Aaand, if you’re in the mood for ice cream, you might also like this creamy strawberry mascarpone situation:

Mix about two thirds of the melted chocolate mixture with the fillings, then pour them into a lined tin. Then add the rest of the chocolate to fill in any gaps. Decorate it with salted caramel sauce, some extra pretzels and popcorn. What caramel sauce is best to use? Thanks for the help. These literally taste like candy bars (because let’s be real – they kind of are). <3 August 28, 2019 Freezing: This bark can be frozen in an airtight container for 2-3 months. Thaw on the counter before enjoying.I enjoy exploring the world through food, culture, and travel and sharing the adventure with mostly from-scratch, family friendly recipes that I think of as modern comfort cooking. In response to another commenter who took their blondies out of the oven after 25 mins to find they looked exactly the same as when they went in – mine still looked raw after 25 mins, but weirdly after another 5 minutes they were done! They seem to bake from the bottom up, if that makes sense. This is pretty late, but I just tried the coconut milk since we didn’t have heavy cream and making a grocery run for one item during pandemic isn’t the greatest plan, and it worked out (though it was still soft coming out of the freezer)!
