Please, please, please, make sure your Zumba Toning instructor is a certified fitness professional. This is scary because that means you have had very, very, very limited anatomy training, no real testing to ensure you are capable of teaching a safe and effective class, and in fact – no testing at all. At my training workshop, there were 30-35 Zumba instructors there, and only 6 of us were certified fitness instructors or personal trainers. Not all instructors are created equally
